4-Week Wheel Throwing Course — $275

Ready to step into the world of pottery? This four-week beginner-friendly wheel throwing class will guide you from a lump of clay to a finished glazed piece you’ll be proud of. No experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy.

    •    Duration: 4 weeks - Time: 2.5 hours per session
    •    Capacity: 4 students per class
    •    Cost: $275 per person
    •    All materials, tools, clay, glazes, and firings included

What You’ll Learn
Week 1 — Introductions, Wedging & Centering
We’ll start with the foundations: wedging your clay, centering on the wheel, and understanding basic hand positions. You’ll also have free time to experiment and get comfortable with the wheel.

Week 2 — Throwing Basics
This week, we’ll dive deeper into forming pots — practicing techniques to pull walls, shape vessels, and refine form.

Week 3 — Trimming & Refining
After your pieces dry to leather hard, you’ll learn how to trim, refine, and add details like foot rings.

Week 4 — Glazing
Finally, you’ll explore glaze application and learn how color, texture, and form come together in the final firing.

After Class
Your finished pieces will be fired and ready to pick up within 2–4 weeks. You’ll receive an email as soon as they’re ready!
